Like the other veterans involved with F3, this weekend holds a place near and dear to my heart and I’m glad to have had 23 other PAX join us in our remembrance of the men and women who selflessly sacrificed their lives so that we could live as free men. The Disclaimer was disclaimed, and we were on our way.
Warm-Up
We were warmed up by Radar on his VQ
- 20 Moroccan Night Clubs (IC)
- 20 Imperial Walkers (IC)
- 20 Windmills (IC)
- 15 Cherry Pickers (IC)
- 10 Merkins (IC)
The Thang
Mosey to the Parking lot of spaces. Apache has wild ideas and today one of them were bestowed upon us. We will name this at some further point in time. The PAX partnered up and we began.
- Alternating Merkins and SSHs, the HIM doing the Merkin was the time keeper. 10 Merkins for the first man up, the partner behind was doing SSHs until the merkin man was finished. This went on for eight iterations.
- Next was the same brainchild, except we swapped out Bomb Jacks for the SSHs and Burpees for the Merkins. This went on for 5 grueling iterations.
Mosey to the Track of Positivity
- 2 Bojangles Biscuits w/ 20 Carolina Dry Docks and 10 Burpees at the opposite ends.
- 15 Imperial Walkers (IC)
- 11s starting with 1 Merkin and 10 LBCs. (I’ll rethink the length in-between, next time.)
- 15 Windmills (IC)
- 15 Imperial Walkers (IC)
- 10 Merkins OYO
- 2 Minutes of Sally (Lunges)
- 50 Meters of Lt. Dan
- 50 Meters of Bear crawls
Mosey back to the COT
Peach let us Q’s know that we did not work him out enough and he proceeded to put us through 5 minutes of Mary.
NMM
Great work on this beautiful Saturday morning, you all push me to become a better father and role model to my children everyday. I appreciate everyone being patient with me through my first Q. As I mentioned during the workout, this Q was dedicated to a close friend of mine 1LT Andrew Shields, a US Army Apache pilot who along with his Co-Pilot perished in night operations in Tikrit, Iraq. Please keep these Gold Star families in your thoughts as we strive to be better men.
Geronimo – Glad to see you at the Patriot this morning, appreciated your mumble chatter.
Mayhem – Have we decided whether or not we are going with Strawberry or Cherry pickers yet?
Limp Bizkit – Thank you for the prayer, brother.
Captain Kangaroo – Keep with it brother, you are getting better everyday.
Tony Hawk – Apache will be bringing a Fedora for that Man Bun, nice job today.
Roxanne – You embraced all of the suck this morning.
Scrappy – Came for the extra credit and still handled the workout like a boss.
Sweeper – Keep showing your father up, he appreciates it more than you know.
JAG – Without a doubt one of the hardest working HIM’s in the area. Thanks for your continued leadership.
Iron Sights (FNG) – for an FNG, you looked like a veteran HIM.
Duramax (FNG) – Listerine will take that bad taste out of your mouth, way to leave it all out on the track, literally.
Peach – I don’t think this man know what being tired is, thanks for the last minute or five, push.
Boobazella??? – Brother, I apologize if I dorked up your name, great work did here.
The Flash – Great work on the Pre Extra credit, you are Supra-Human in your running abilities.
Radar – Thanks for leading us in our warm up, let’s see more of you in the Q position soon.
Hot Sauce – Great work out there today brother, way to keep us all motivated.
FUSION – Thank you for keeping us all safe with that yellow shirt, great work brother.
Dream House – Keep pushing, we are all getting better together.
Corruption – Thank you for joining us today, always a pleasure to have you here.
Dog Pound – you are a true motivator, you put in more work than most.
Spence – Thank you for bringing the younger generations to grow and become leaders.
