Fireball and Sasquatch have somehow been allowed to serve as co-chairs for the Greater Charlotte Heart Walk on behalf of Encompass Health Rock Hill. Naturally, we couldn’t just show up and walk like normal people, so we’ve added a little F3 flavor.
The Mission
Date/Time: 9/26/26 @ 0730/0900 – 1030
Location: Romare Bearden Park (uptown Charlotte)
The Greater Charlotte Heart Walk is one of the community’s largest annual events, bringing together thousands of people to improve heart health, honor loved ones, and support healthier communities.

The event includes:
- 3-mile and 1-mile walk routes (beginning at 9:00 AM)
- Festival area opens at 7:30 AM
- Community vendors, entertainment, health resources, and more
The CSAUP
Rather than just a leisurely stroll with your family, earn it.
Teams of 2 or 4 will compete in a 3-1-3-1 relay. Simple as that.
The Catch
After the relay:
Losing teams will meet in the Romare Bearden green space and collectively complete:
- 100 Burpees (Dora style)
- 100 Merkins (Dora style)
- 100 Big Boys (Dora style)
- 100 SSH (in cadence because suffering is better together.)
The Prize
The winning team will take home up to $200 worth of CEP compression socks. Because looking fast is almost as important as being fast.
Why We’re Doing It
It’s an opportunity to support a great cause, represent F3, get in some healthy competition, and spend the morning with fellow PAX and family (yes, bring your families and furry friends – Sasquatch does not count as a furry friend).
