Pulling into WEP this cold morning, I found two Pax were ready and willing to take on this workout. After a quick disclaimer, it was time to get busy.
We moseyed over to the field in front of the playground for a quick warmup:
- SSH x25
- Windmill x10
- IW x15
- Merkins x10
- Honeymooner/Down Dog
- Low Slow Squats x15
Warm. Good. Move over to the hill for some pyramid work.
The Thang
Pyramid 1
- 10 push-ups, 10 squat jumps, 1 Backwards Run up Hill/Run Down
- 14 push-ups, 14 squat jumps, 2 Backwards Run up Hill/Run Down
- 18 push-ups, 18 squat jumps, 3 Backwards Run up Hill/Run Down
Pyramid 2
- 10 CCD, 10 Bomb JacksĀ 1 Bear Crawl Up Hill/Run Down
- 14 CCD, 14 Bomb Jacks, 2 Bear Crawl Up Hill/Run Down
- 18 CCD, 18 Bomb Jacks, 3 Bear Crawl Up Hill/Run Down
Pyramid 3
- 10 Burpees, 10 American Hammers, 1 Sprint Up Hill/Run Down
- 14 Burpees, 14 American Hammers, 2 Sprint Up Hill/Run Down
- 18 Burpees, 18 American Hammers, 3 Sprint Up Hill/Run Down
After a couple 10-counts to recover, we moseyed back to the field for some Iron Hulk.
1-by-4 Merkins to Overhead Press until you get to 10-by-40. This was a shoulder burner.
With less than 10 minutes left, we did a quick mosey around the park and back to the parking lot. Then finishing the final minute with the Protractor.
I designed this workout to really push the Pax. As Lil E said, “Witch Hunt isnt going to drive 25 minutes not to deliver some pain.” T-CLaps to Cooter for pushing through this workout after being off at Mardi Gras. Thanks to Lil E for the chance to lead.
