90 of the county’s Highest Impact Men converged on Rock Hill to celebrate 2 years of Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. Thanks to the PAX of The Fort for your support from launch to startup to 2 years of unprecedented growth. Rock Hill’s humble beginnings started with the launch of The Patriot and has ballooned to Old Town, Eagle’s Nest, PHoP, ManU, Petra, Bibles and Biscuits, Hills of Gloom, Hills of Pain, The Dragon, The Trinity, and HIMSHIP. Without the leadership of men like Pusher and Peach, we never would have gotten this thing off the ground. TClaps to Posh for pulling this hour-long beatdown together. Thanks to Solid State and Old Bay for capturing this beast on camera. Great work, men!

NMM

Today we covered 4.25 miles at the workout. TClaps to the men who ran or biked in from Fort Mill. Many of these men ran 10+ miles before the workout started. Great job! In true Rock Hill fashion, our friendly neighborhood conductor sounded the horn which meant 10 Burpees. This is a rule our brother’s north of the river did not appreciate.

I was proud to see all the fellowship and encouragement out there today. So many men pushed their hardest and never gave up. Though we weren’t sure how well our concocted workout would play out, we were pleasantly surprised at the fluidness of the event. And…no one died. Awesome job today.

What an awesome opportunity to post with a huge BOM! Great 2nd year anniversary beatdown! Can’t tell you what impact F3 has had on my life in past almost 3 mos. But let me give y’all a sample with a bit of one of my own anniversaries: A year ago Mother’s Day weekend I started experiencing some freaky symptoms that worsened severly as my condition went undiagnsed in the week that would come. As it would turn out I had come down with a case of guillain-barre syndrome. Never heard of it before either. But let me cut to the quick: It kicked my tail! After 5 nights in the hospital and another 8 at in-patient rehab, I was released to go home, where I spent the rest of the summer laid-up and in rehab! When I got home I could only walk–with my wife’s assistance–to the stop sign at the end of my street, only about 200′, 2x per day! I told myself once I recovered (was told it could take a year) that I was going to get back into shape. New running shoes were purchased…and they sat, and sat. Running again or working out was just not something I had the self-will to do. Then a buddy of mine called me about 2.5 mos ago and turkey-punched me, put the EH on, and, well, I HC’d and posted at the Dragon. Thanks Nunchuk, I haven’t been the same since! And I cannot say enough about many of you other guys either; this brotherhood is beyond phenomenal. Now I’m the crazy puke that lies one-eye-open most nights peeking at the clock…just waiting for post-time. When I first started F3 some of the guillain-barre symptoms resurfaced in minor ways–they told that could happen with vigorous activity, and to be careful. Scary, as you might imagine. Yet, F3 has now become more than a significant part of my recovery from this rather freaky and rather unknown sickness. Seriously could not have come this far without each of you HIM!
