It was a brisk morning in The Fort. The temps were cold but the mumble chatter was fire.:fire: Quick mosey and a warmup.

Laps of pain..Escalating latter with a lap around the track after each set.

11s and Pyramids

Light yog with normal stretchy warm-ups.
11s using 2 light poles for run length. Bomb jacks on one end and flying squirrels on the other.
Leg pyramid: 10 froggers, 20 squats, 30 mtn climbers, 40 lunges (single count), 50 SSHs, 40 lunges, 30 mtn climbers 20 squats, 10 froggers. Light stiff legged yog then chest pyramid: 10 HR merkins, 15 plank toe taps, 20 alternating merkins (one hand forward, one hand behind), 25 shoulder taps, 30 plank jacks, 25 shoulder taps, 20 alt merkins, 15 plank toe taps, 10 HR merkins.

Cannoli walk

WARMUP: slight slowsy over to our first stop for some imperial walkers, hillbilly walkers, and low slow squats

THE THANG: got in about 3 miles with a couple of stops. Every ten mins we stopped and did an assortment of exercises between: merkins, squats, walkers, calf raises, curls, bent over rows and overhead carrys.

MARY:

Last 30 seconds we did calf raises, want able to get abs in that time.

Running with some exercises

Pre-Run:
1.3 miles with Halfback

WARMUP:
Imperials, Hillbillies x10 each in cadence

Ran to the basketball court
10 dips & 10 step ups each leg

Short Jack Web of
Jump over the wall and back (that’s 1 rep) followed by 4 merkins.
Went up to 5 wall jumps.

Went back to the basketball court,
10 dips followed by 100m run x5
5 step ups (each leg) followed by 100m run x5

Ran to the bottom of the hill and faced the elementary school.

There are 4 light poles from the bottom to the top. Shuttle run from the first light pole to the second and do 10 jump squats. Repeat for the 3rd and 4th poles.

Wrapped up with 30 seconds of flutters.

Beat the deck round 4

WARMUP: started with a light mosey to center of the lot. Hit some SSHs, Imperial Walkers, Windmills.

THE THANG: we had 9 cards face up and the deck face down. Each number was associated with a workout. When you got one right you did 10 reps of the workout. When you got one wrong you did 10 reps and a MOW. We had about 7 cards left…

MARY: …those 7 cards turned to lightning round to wrap up on time

– One partner does exercise, the other runs to the curb about 50 yards away and back. Switch until reps complete.

13 YR Anniversary Convergence

Here is my weinke – Assassin

We had about 12 runners and 6 ruckers tackle the tundra of the paved loop around the schools.

Starting at the front door we headed around the back, past the shop, past the ROTC HQ, down to the elementary playground, back by the stadium, out to Jones Road and back to the front.

All enjoyed. Thanks to Sasquatch and Spectre for the preview lap and suggestions.

A Ruck with some silly stuff

WARMUP: Somewhere along the route we got in 10 Moroccan Nightclubs, 10 Imperial Walkers, 10 Grass-pickers
THE THANG:
Ruck to the bottom of the stairs by Mathnasium for a count to 50 squats, ruck up the stairs and back down in the middle, around to the back stairs for and 50 count squats and then back up the stairs and back down the middle stairs. 10 merkins ruck on. Ruck around the apartments to the back circle 10 merkins ruck on and then back around and down to the parking lot near the Sunbelt offices. Back left corner 10 man makers, back right corner 10 man makers, front left corner 10 man makers. Ruck down Wamsutta Mills Dr to the circle for 10 more merkins and some Mary, ruck to the end of Wamsutta and back around to Kingsley Springs Blvd up the hill back to COT.
