At the track, do exercise then run a lap
– 12 o clock – 50 squats
– 3 o clock – 50 merkins
– 6 o clock – 50 dips
– 9 o clock – 50 mountain climbers
The Grinder at the entrance to GHMS
– Partner Up: Partner 1 do a bear crawl up to the next light
– Partner 2: run to the next light and come back to get your partner and run back to the light
– Switch – Partner 2 does Bear crawl, Partner 1 runs
– When Partner 1 starts again, do Crab Walk. Switch back to Bear Crawl at next cycle.

Turd Burglar

WARMUP: Windmill, IW, HW, MNC
THE THANG:
4 quarter-mile laps around the parking lot for a total of 1 mile. Stopped every quarter of a lap and did 10 reps of one exercise Burpees, Squats, Merkins, Big Boys x 4 for a total of 40 of each throughout the mile.

Partner Dora
Timer: One pax runs ~ 300 yards while the other pax does reps of an exercise.

50 – Step Up Burpees

100 – Merkins
100 – SSH
100 – Plank Jacks
100 – LBCs
100 – Derkins

WARMUP:
– 10 Moroccan nightclubs
– 10 cherry pickers
– 10 windmills
– 20 imperial walkers

Mosey down road
– stop at curb and do 15 merkins hands on curb in cadence
– Mosey to wall
– Stop at next curb 15 calf raises in cadence
– Wall sit 20 count

THE THANG:
Mosey to the top of the hill with light poles
Ladder workout
– run forward to first light pole and do one burpee, then run back to start and complete exercise
– Run forward to second light and do 2 burpees, then run back to start and complete exercise
– Repeat for 10 light poles
Exercises per pole:
– 10 archer merkins
– 20 bomb jacks
– 30 wide arm merkins
– 40 squats
– 50 chair crunches
– 40 diamond merkins

Pulled up and it was raining, but that didn’t deter the PAX from posting!

Warm-up:

Mosey: Under the breezeway to keep the PAX nice and dry.

The Thing:

1st Round:
1. 10 Dips
2. 10 Irkens (Incline Merkins)
3. 10 Derkins (Decline Merkins)
– Mosey to the breezeway: 5 Kraken Burpees at the cone.
– Mosey to the farthest cone to the right:
– 10 Mike Tysons
– 20 Big Boys
– 10 Squats on your tiptoes
– On the way back: 5 Kraken Burpees at the middle cone.

2nd Round:
1. Bulgarian Squats (10 each leg)
2. 3 Body Builders (Burpee with a plank jack)
3. 10 Fox Holes (WW2 sit-ups, straight leg roll over, and do a Merkin)
– Mosey to the breezeway: 5 Kraken Burpees at the cone.
– Mosey straight to the middle cone:
– Bear crawl to the cone on the track and back.
– 15 Narrow Squats (feet together)
– 20 Dying Cockroaches
– On the way back: 5 Kraken Burpees at the middle cone.

3rd Round:
1. 10 Dips at the bench
2. 10 Irkens (Incline Merkins)
3. 10 Derkins (Decline Merkins)
– Mosey to the breezeway: 5 Kraken Burpees at the cone.
– Mosey to the cone to the left:
– Run to the dock: 5 Muscle Ups (knee destroyer)
– 15 Carolina Dry Docks
– 10 Lt. Dan’s
– On the way back: 5 Kraken Burpees at the middle cone.

Made these pax get out and get on there six in the parking lot to get wet we did LBC’s and Superman to pull the ripcord. So much for staying dry.

4th Round:

– Around the little lot alternate bear crawl and partner carry
– At the end of the exit line, 50 flutters (2-count)

THE THANG: hill work. Indian lunge. Zipper pushup drill. Burpee broad jumps, more push ups and bear crawl. Dora with more lunges and push up variations. Rotating wall sits and planks with burpees. Overhead claps for several minutes.

Mosey around the elementary school car line.

Killer B’s:

Bearcrawl 10 yards do ten burpees
Bearcrawl 10 more yards do 20 bombjacks
Bearcrawl 10 more yards do 30 BBS

Broad jump all the way back to the start. Do this 3x

15:00 minute time limit.

After this I asked the pax if when I put the time limit on the routine it made them push harder or slack off. The point being we all have a time limit. Our time is finite, if they’d true then why not push yourself… why not try and maximize your minutes?

2nd routine Pick your poison:

Since Duquesne made the tournament for the first time in 47 years everybody got to choose how they wanted to get 47 reps in.

47 HR OR Diamond merkins
Run a lap
47 Jump Squats OR Lunges (2-cr)
Run a lap
47 (4-CT) flutters OR HD
Run 2 Laps

This took us straight to COT.

Men…Maximize the minutes given to us. Lost time is never found again.
