Q-Fusion

A litte Q-fusion this morning at <#C02PK4V7WLV>. I noticed several Pax running around the AO before kick-off time. Most getting some extra miles before the Dam to Dam relay. I noticed <@U5Y5JA02G> running and I thought I had seen his name of the Q Line-up for the Catawba Ridge AO (whatever the new name is).
After clearing up the Q-Fusion, we started with a mosey around the parking lot. We stopped a few times for Toy Soldiers, Butt Kickers, and Knees to Chest. we made our way to the band parking lot for the first phase:
– Bear crawl out to 10, 2 burpees, crawl bear back to start
– Bear crawl out to 20, 4 burpees, crawl bear back to start
– Bear crawl out to 30, 6 burpees, crawl bear back to start
– Bear crawl out to 40, 8 burpees, crawl bear back to start
– Bear crawl out to 50, 10 burpees, run back to start

Next, same markers, except run out, 10 SSH (+10 each marker), Nur back to start.
Last set, same marker, run, 10 squats, nur back to start.

Next, we moseyed to pull-up bars. 5s – 1 pull up, 4 squat thrusters, increase pulls +1, decrease squats -1
Rinse and Repeat
Finished off with a Jack Webb

Good to see some new faces. we had a out of town visitor and a Kotter.

Block/Bar/Hill Blender at Ring of Fire

WARMUP: SSH, Imperial walkers, cherry pickers, merkins
THE THANG: 2 rounds of block work: 15 thrusters, 15 curls, 15 decline merkins, 15 overhead extenstions. Followed by 10 min partner circuit: Partner A did 10 pull ups and ran the hill while Partner B held a plank. All PAX together for 10 min did 10 block squats, 10 bent over rows, ran to bottom of hill for 10 big boys.

Latter Workout

WARMUP: Side straddle hops, cherry pickers, windmill, hamsting stretch
THE THANG: 10X Each Exercise: K-Bell swings, goblet squats American K-Bell Swings, Calf Raises, Curls, Lungs L+R, Plank pull throughs, Sumo squat high pulls, Figure 8s, Merkins with K-Bell, American Hammers, Flutters w/press.
MARY: A Variety Of Leg lifts and hello dolly’s

THE THANG: Mosey a tad: to some good island based parking lots

6-7 with curb alberts and mike tysons
mode of transit: bear crawl/crawl bear

6-7 with squats and boxer toe touches

(There were kids here. I had to 6-7 them)

Head to the football field.
Some running 100 yards at a time

10 merkins at the 10 yard line

Many of you know I don’t post often on Saturday because it’s concentrica time in my household. My M was working out of town, and the 2.0s slept in. It was great to be among the PAX this Saturday. The work we GET to do in the gloom is a privilege. Remember that when some jackwagon calls 7-2-20s.

What’s in the Box?

WARMUP: Windmills, MNC, world’s greatest stretch and merkins
THE THANG: Carry our big bells to the far side of the parking lot, found a box full of terrible exercises and carries such as snatches, curls, man makers and lots more. We (I) decided on a 15 count and a nice loop to mosey around after each exercise. Eventually construction workers started showing up and for our sobriety we moved to another location and finished what we started.
MARY: I started, then Bam Bam practiced calling cadence and finally Skipper wouldn’t stop until 0600

Deep Dish 1 year anniversary beatdown

WARMUP: yes
THE THANG:
First set:
5 rounds:
Single arm 3 cleans, 3 overhead press, 3 front rack squat in one complex. Switch arms. Suitcase carry between each round. Repeat 5x

Second set:
Partner up at bottom of hill. P1 does 50 double bell swings. P2 runs to top of hill and back. Repeat 3x. 150 total swings per partner.

Third set:
10 min EMOM. 5 man makers, add 1 rep every 2 mins. (This part was terrible)

Finished with some Mary.
