THE THANG: AMRAP 15 Reps each exercise for 30 minutes flowed by a lap. Kettlebell Swings, Thrusters, Dips, Derkins, LBC'S w/KB.

AMRAP @ The Armory


WARMUP:
Intro and disclaimer. 1 runner and 6 of us took a mosey across Carolina Pl to the back of the supply company building. By the large antenna, we did 15 MNC, 15 Imp Walkers and 15 Hillbilly Walkers. Then mosey back over to the church parking lot for 15 SSH, 15 windmills, 15 Non-discrpt produce pickers and ended with plank, down/up dog. Mosey back to the beginning for some work.
THE THANG: This was a 25 minute AMRAP with 15 Kettle Bell swings, 15 Goblet Squats, 15 overhead press, 15 flutter with press, 15 bent over rows and the run down through the drive through and back. Got it 6 rounds.
MARY: Ended with a message about pausing and reflecting.

The Thang:
1. Ladders
Start at 5 reps, add +5 each round until 25, then work back down.
Exercises:
KB Swings
Goblet Squats
KB Rows (each arm)

Ladder format: 5-10-15-20-25-20-15-10-5

2. Grinder (3 Rounds)
10 KB Chest Press
15 KB Deadlifts
20 KB American Hammers (with KB, 2-count = 1)

Round 1 MOT: Bear Crawl
Round 2 MOT: Lunges
Round 3 MOT: Farmer's Carry Above Head
(From light pole to light pole)

3. Finisher: Dora/ Partner Carry
Perform 25 total Burpees
Partner A: Farmers Carry with both KBs from light pole to light pole.
Partner B: Burpees

WARMUP: We started off with our themed number of reps with 50 SSHs then on to some stretchy things.
THE THANG:
This is what was planned plus a couple of AMRAPs but we only made it to Round 2 -Corner 2 then we had to make our way back to COT.

The Armory

WARMUP: SSH, Low Slow Squat, Imperial Walker, Merkin, Peter Parker, Moroccan Nightclubs
THE THANG: Grab your bells and scoot on over to the other side of the parking lot
Pair up by counting off. Poppins has a lame leg so he goes with the ones because there's a pair exercise.

Written in chalk in the parking spaces are seven exercises. They are spaced out so that you have to bell-crawl between them. Every exercise is each side or 20 combined.

  • Run a lap (no bell)
  • 10 shoulder press
  • 10 arm curl
  • 10 chest press
  • 10 bent over row
  • 30 swings
  • 10 electrice slide
  • WHAT? Two iron poles with a sand bag suspended in the middle. Each partner takes a deep step to one side in a deep. One knee at 90º, the other leg straight. Then stand up straight. Then to the other side. That's one.

After a full round is complete, sit down in a tight circle for "pass the Dutchie". One cycle L, R, L, R

THE THANG: Ruck to <@U5CESTA4R>’s office across from TC Fire on Stonecrest.. some incline Merkins on the guardrails, a mess of OH press with our rucks and some LBCs just so we could say we saw a girl in a string bikini top at the gym

Miles of OPRAHS Favorite Things

WARMUP: I mean, we just started walking and stuff
THE THANG: Ruck miles (a simple out-and-back on 160 with OPRAHS stops along the way:

OP = Overhead Press x 10 OYO
R = Rows (alt upright/bent over) x 10 OYO
AH = American Hammers

Baker Mayfield is not Pence

WARMUP:
SSH, merkins, squats, Broga

THE THANG:
Untraditional 11s. At first I wanted to go all the way through from 10 to 1, but YHC quickly realized I wouldn’t be able to make it so I modified as needed. We worked through the first two exercises from 10 down to 8, then flipped to the next two exercises. Then flip back down for 7-5, then flipped back. Last set was 4 to 1.

We got through two sets of exercises before time ran out.
