COT:
Following a really crappy day at work, and a sleepless night because of it, today’s Q could not have come at a better time.
It was already scheduled several weeks ago, but perhaps a higher power was at work here, knowing that today was the day I really needed it. I knew I would feel better after some physcial exercise, but the pax who provided me with a laugh or kind word really put me back in the right frame of mind. At the close of COT, I felt 100% better. Thank you, men!

We had a great group today and the mumble chatter and jokes made for a really fun workout. It was a pleasure to lead the group as always, and I’m truly thankful for the pax of F3. I gotta give a shoutout to our juniors, Ironclad and Bowser, who are regulars at our Saturday workouts and are developing a really good habit for life. Keep up the good work, guys!

Prayers for the F3 Pax affected by the deaths or illnesses of mothers and grandmothers (Bassomatic, Boogie Down, Uhaul).

Prayers for my friend Joe with cancer and the continued recovery of my co-worker Justin (Covid). Traveling mercies for the several HS band students on the road this wknd for competitions.

Bucks for Clucks

Last year, the men of The Fort and surrounding areas came together to support Seamstress in his inaugural launch of Operation Love. This charity helps provide meals to families in need in our Paradise community in Fort Mill.

This year 40 meals/baskets will be provided to these families. Santini, in partnership with Publix off Gold Hill road, has ordered turkeys for these 40 families.

If you would like to donate a turkey, each turkey is approximately $25. Please Venmo Santini your donation and it will be applied to the purchase of these turkeys. Deadline for donations is 11/21. Venmo is @Scott-Cornwell-94

Aces were 14 count, that made everyone happy and the 2 jokers = 10 burpees
Finished early so we started some 11s with diamond merkins and lunges, but only got about 1/2 way through. Original MOT was bear crawl and crab walk, but was quickly revised to run and nur

Skunked

4 men showed up for a chilly morning at FMHS. Quick mosey to the band field (no signs of Band Camp). Warm ups (SSH, Imperial Walker, Windmill, Squats). Next, we used the field markers to do a burpee ladder. 1 burpee at each 10 yard marker adding 1 every 10 yards running back to the end zone.
Next, we moseyed to the freshman drop off area. Three rounds of dips x20. Continued our journey around the school to the pull-up bars. Three rounds of pull-ups x5 and squats x10.
Mosey to the front of the school. Two rounds of 1 minute toe taps. Back to COT for Mary (LBCs, Flutters, Hello Dolly, Freddie’s).
