All veterans so simple disclaimer, light warmup then we performed the following with rucks and sandbags:
10 Merkins, alternating one hand on sandbag
Bear crawl dragging sandbag to other side of field
10 Merkins w/sandbag pull thrus (aka Ashley Cummins)
Sandbag front toss to other side of field
10 Sandbag over the shoulders
OH carry sandbag to other side of field
10 Lunges w/sandbag rotates (start one side of lunged leg and rotate to other side)
Farmer carry ruck and sandbag over and back
Rack the sandbag on top of ruck (normal carry) and take long lap
15 Sandbag curls
Lunge across field with ruck and sandbag on back
15 Sandbag overhead presses
Front rack the sandbag across the field
10 Sandbag cling and presses
Sandbag front toss across field
15 Bent over sandbag rows
Suitcase carry ruck and carry sandbag like baby over and back
Rack the sandbag and take another long lap
5 quick man-makers then back to COT for a few mins of mary.
One or two of those movements should not be repeated but great way to start the day!

All corners start with 50 reps each, exercises stay the same each time around
– Corner 1: squats, then run to corner 2
– Corner 2: diamond merkins, then crawl bear to corner 3
– Corner 3: bomb jacks, then nur to corner 4
– Corner 4: big boys, then bear crawl to concrete parking lot in front of church and do 5 burpees
– Repeat. Reps go down to 40, then 30, 20, 10. Burpees stay at 5 each time

11 PAX sweated out the weekend toxins and accelerated in the humidity this fine beautiful morning. We did 3.9 miles total with 25 squats at First Horizon, 25 plank jacks at Model A. Always look after the six and come home to your family the same way you left. Look out for each other PAX!

WARMUP: Walked our sandbags from COT to the starting point at one end of the parking lot at the front of the school. Moseyed around the parking lot back to the starting point without bags. PAX then stood in front of their bags for the following: 10xSSHinCadence, 1 ManMaker, 10xCPinCadence, 2 ManMakers, 10xHWinCadence, 3 ManMakers, 10xLSSinCadence, 4 ManMakers, 10xMNCinCadence, 5 ManMakers. We were warm.
THE THANG: We would have been on the field in front of the school, but it was being watered when I arrived. So, designated a starting line, then set-up 4 cones about 15 yards apart in the parking lot.
All partner work
1st Routine: Traveling from the starting line to the last cone Partner#1 starts the trip with LT Dans while Partner#2 racks the bag and jogs to the last cone and then back to meet his partner. When the band is back together each PAX completes 5 ManMakers. Switch and continue the journey until you reach the last cone.
2nd Routine: Traveling from the starting line to the next cone Partner#1 Front Press throws his bag while Partner#2 walks along side him Rifle Carrying their bag. When the team reaches the cone each PAX performs 25 BentOverRows & 20 Curls. Then switch and head to the next cone. Continue in this manner until your team reaches the last cone.
3rd Routine: Traveling from the starting line to the next cone Partner#1 Backwards Overhead throws his bag while Partner#2 walks along side him Rifle Carrying their bag. When the team reaches the cone each PAX performs 25 Chest Presses with bag while fluttering & 20 Alt. Plyo Merkins. Then switch and head to the next cone. Continue in this manner until your team reaches the last cone.
4th Routine: Traveling from the starting line to the last cone Partner#1 starts the trip with 2 Rotating Side Throws ( 1 from each side ) while Partner#2 completes 2 Burpees. Partner#2 jogs to the bag and then performs his 2 throws while Partner#1 completes 2 Burpees. Keep switching until you reach the last cone.

WARMUP:
Short but not quick mosey, SSH, Merkins, Mtn Climbers, and Windmills.
THE THANG:
Mosey to the wall and have a seat. Chairs not provided. Take turns 10 yd bear crawl, 2 burpees or 5 mtn climbers, bear crawl back. Of course Fishstix had to step up with a reverse bear crawl back. I think he learned that from the Alcatraz bear, because his form was on point.
Wrapped and moseyed to the next station for Dora with 100 Dips, 200 Squats , 300 LBCs. The partner mosey was short so the reps stayed short too.
Wrapped and moseyed back to the starting point for a 10 minute 4 Corners exercise.

WARMUP: Ditch Witch led!
THE THANG: YHC had a plan pulled from previous Alcatraz backblasts, but it was a pretty morning. So, here’s a list of what we DID NOT do:
– 30 pull ups
– 45 burpees
– 90 squats
– 120 dips
– and laps (thanks Decibel)
and/or a ladder courtesy of Backdraft
– 10 burpees
– 20 jumping lunges
– 30 Carolina Dry Docks
– 40 jump squats
– 50 merkins
Instead we covered 3.5ish miles and stopped occasionally to regroup. We went to the end of Anchorage, Windward, and Point Clear. At the stops, we did some exercises in cadence, some yoga, or just considered the myriad of ways this workout siphoned and what a jerk YHC is.

WARMUP: Mosey to turf area behind elementary school for SSH, windmills, moroccan nightclubs, imperial and hillbilly walkers and then mosey back to soccer field.
THE THANG: 7 of diamonds – 4 stations, 4 laps, same exercise at each station for each lap… 7 merkins at each station then 14 flutter kicks then 21 lunges then 28 squats. Mosey to parking lot, hold plank while each person bear crawls out to curb and back. Mosey to picnic tables for inclined merkins, dips, and step ups. Lunges back to parking lot and then mosey to picnic tables for rinse and repeat on inclined merkins, dips, and step ups. Mosey back to parking lot for ab exercises.
