Bootcamp:
– Buy-in: 20 bomb jacks, 20 donkey kicks.
– Bear crawl the length of parking lot / whistle = 10 merkins
– Lunge walk parking lot / whistle = 10 jump squats

– count down the merkins and squats keep the 20 swings

“Because it induces movement, leadership causes Disruption”

PAX were disrupted from their planned morning workout to make sure both Qs saw all the PAX and to push them outside the complacency zone of their established routines. With the leadership, we should expect disruption and embrace it.

Leaders influence movement towards advantage. Disruption is a solid technique to induce movement.

“If a man calls himself a leader but does not cause Disruption by initiating movement, then he is not practicing leadership. He might be doing something else, like managing or governing, but he is not leading.”

It is not the goal of the new SLT members is not to manage or govern. It should not be the goal of the Site Qs to manage or govern. Let’s lead!

F3 is not an organization with leaders, but an organization OF leaders. Each man is freed to lead. The particulars of Site Qs and the SLT structure is nice, but let us not be afraid to disrupt when we have a vision for advantage.

Run up main street, stop to do 1 burpee, around clebourne stop to do 1 squat, over to entrance of WEP and do 1 merkin, stop at amphitheater and do 1 Big Boy
THE THANG:

10 big boys
Run 0.3 miles around the park and stop at lit swing and do:
9 burpees
9 squats
9 merkins
9 big boys
Run 0.3 miles back to start and do 8 of each. Repeat down to 1 each

How can you adjust your mindset to “both/and” and away from the “either/or” nature our culture seems to impose?

Opted against sandbags this morning – everyone nursing injuries/recovering from illness.

Super windy but stayed dry.

3.5 mile zipper route. Great conversation.

Rain poured on the drive home. Some mornings you get lucky.

Heavy things carried for no reason

WARMUP: N/A
THE THANG:
Guys paired up. One would carry and the other was off for 6 minutes at a time. They started with a coupon and once they had both carried it once, they swapped coupons with another group.

Coupons:
– 80lb sandbag
– 40lb sandbag
– 5 gallon water jug (~40lbs but doesn’t carry like a sandbag)

Rucked the zipper with the coupons for an hour

Run up the Hill “Again”!

WARMUP: none
THE THANG: run over toward school into cul de sac where Decibel had his office. Run down to the bottom of road where street lights are before school. Run back up the hill to cul de sac. Exercises at top and bottom. Repeat 5 times. Not complicated…. it just sucked!

WARMUP:
F3 Tabata Workout (20 minutes)

Started off pulling up UNITY- Queen Latifah to set the tone

– Warm-up (5 min)
20 SSH IC
– Imperial Walkers and Hillbilly walkers(10x)
– Mike Tysons (10x)
– LBCs (10x)
– Flutter Kicks (10x)

THE THANG:

Run to Cindies and Pull up bars

– Tabata Circuit (20 min)
– 4 rounds of 8 exercises (20 sec work, 10 sec rest)
– Pull-ups
– Cinder Block Thrusters
goblet squats
– Burpees with Cinder Block Jump overs
Burpee pull ups
Derkins
Curls
Skull crushers

Run back to STARTEX, flipped it to my man Goose

Went inside and had a great conversation about UNITY

Watch out for that pile!

WARMUP:

“Weight off”
Windmills, imp walkers, hillbilly walkers, dynamic plank stretching and merkins
THE THANG:

“Weight on”
Ruck over to Amphitheatre toting the three sandbags

Performed a heavy Dora

Partner 1 bear crawls up each level of the amphitheatre, at each level perform one hand release merkin

Then scuttle down hill

Partner 2 does the following (taking turns)

50 ruck merkins
100 lunges
100 calf raises

After we completed that and successfully dodged the huge pile of Dookey in the icy grass we did alternating sand bag toss up to sidewalk

From there we rucked over to Hubert graham and took turns with the sandbags while rucking, we got to revere then turned around, there and back we stopped every .2 miles or so to complete 10 squats and 10 irkins, we got about 70 of each in by the time we got back to COT
