Final Friday Freakout at Varsity

Mosey run
Warm up: SWIMLAPPs: all in cadence: SSH 15x, windmills 10x, Imperial Walkers 10x, Moroccan n/c 10x, low slow squats 10x, big arm circles 10x, peterparkers 10x, plank stretches (honeymooner/down dogs).
-Run-
Thang1: Fish tracks: movement followed by exercise called: Toy soldiers – merkins; bearcrawl-merkins; lunge walk-squats
-Run-
Thang2: Bench mench: step ups, dips, butt touch squats, incline merkins, decline merkins, calf raises
-Run-
Thang3: at the pullup bars, interspersed bar work and abs: Pull ups (10x), squats, chin ups (9x), flutters, switch grip pull ups (8x), LBCs, switch grip pull ups (7x), hello dollies, toes2bar (6x), rosilitas, knees2chest.
Recover and grab a cindy.
Thang4: various block work.
Overhead carry to stop sign and back, curls, OH press, goblet squats, thrusters, bent over rows, and another overhead carry to stop sign and back.
Return blocks.
-Run to shovel flag.-
Thang5: Ball toss: pax on their six in a tight circle, toss slam ball (15 lb) to another pax (be nice and call their name out first). Did this for a little while as it was quite fun.

No Catfishing Here

The original Q Cake Boss was feeling ill, so I stepped in.

WARMUP: Pledge of Allegiance right at 06:45. Then right at launch point, we warmed up with the following – we went SWIMS-ing:
– 20 SSH
– 10 WM
– 15 IW
– 20 MNC
– 15 Strawberry Pickers

THE THANG: Mosey on over to the corner of Academy and Withers, via Main to Confederate. Academy and Withers is the start point of The Cross workout:
– Up the hill on Withers to the parking lot at the top of the hill. 10 Merkins and 15 2ct mountain climbers
– Back down to start point, then 1 burpee
– Down Academy towards Fort Mill Church of God. Stop at the student ministry building. 10 Merkins, 15 LSS
– Back to start point, 1 burpee
– Up Withers to corner at Confederate, 10 merkins and 15 LBC
– Back to start point, 1 burpee
– Down Academy to corner near Main, 10 merkins and 15 2ct fullter
– Back to start point, 1 burpee
– Rinse and repeat, adding 1 burpee each round
– Everyone got through 3 complete rounds, some hard chargers started on a 4th
– Back to COT
MARY: Got back to COT a minute or two early where we did 10 box cutters and 10 rosalitas until time was up.

COT: Nobody is perfect. He loved us all regardless of our imperfections. We need to try to do the same towards all others, including ourselves. Grace goes a LONG way towards this.

This workout is dedicated to U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Keith “Matt” Maupin, 24, of Batavia, Ohio, who disappeared on April 9, 2004, when insurgents south of Baghdad attacked his convoy with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades. His remains were found on March 20, 2008. Prior to his disappearance, Maupin served as part of the 724th Transportation Company in Bartonville, Illinois.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn; father, Keith; a brother and sister; and many other friends and family members.

We did some warmup and then went into a 12 Days of Yardmas board of pain

Complete first exercise and run a lap. Next exercise and the first and run a lap. Repeat ladder style. Extra points to sing 12 days of Christmas while doing it.

4 Corners at the Varsity

WARMUP: SSHs, Windmills, Merkins, misc stretching
THE THANG: 4 corners at the field, utilizing a cinder block at each workout station. Stay in center and do 5 burpees then go from station to station (presses, dips, curls, overhead press, swings, rows, CDDs, merkins) and run a lap after completing 4 corners.
MARY: flutters for 2 minutes

That’s not a donut CB

Rain sucked. Did SSH and ran for cover where we stayed until the end. Sawdust had 2 25lb plates in his ride that we took advantage of for the duration.

Did a brief warmup and got right into it. 2 pax did exercises with plates while the rest did a mode of transport to end of carport with a 10 count exercise. Rotation fashion and did till we stopped.

Pavement Spa

Eight men showed up this morning for the party. Quick disclaimer, few steps back, warm-ups (SSHs, IWs, WMs).
Next, we moseyed to the Pharma. Plank exercises, merkins, Peter Parker, Wide Arm Merkins, Parker Peter, 6 inch hold.
We then made our way to the old Hardees parking lot. I thought it was repaved, but it was rough as sandpaper. Crab walk from one end to the other, stopping at each parking stripe for 10 LBCs. Back the other way, bear crawl with merkins at every stop. We were now soaking wet with bruised hands.
Jog to Unity church for a Dora (CDDs, Squats, Flutters), run to bottom of the hill and back.
We made our last stop at the Footloose AO. Keeping our same partners, Partner 1 ran to the end of the lot and back while Partner 2 bear crawled. Flipflop upon return.

Mosey to the pullup bars, 10 pullups, grab a coupon, and mosey to the overhang in front of the school.
THE THANG:
