Well, the Site Q was under the weather so we :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed: that someone would show up who had a key to the NaFo track. Thankfully, since it’s the first day of school, the football coaches had it open as the team had a morning practice. We debated for a few minutes whether we would risk going in or not, but after he drove away and left it open, we decided to risk it, especially since we had some nur-ing to do.

In honor of U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Travis L. Griffin, 28, who was killed on April 3, 2008, in the Rasheed District of Baghdad, by an improvised explosive device strike to his vehicle.
Griffin is survived by his son, Elijah.

I thought that this was either going to go super fast or take us the rest of the time. It took us the rest of the time. It’s surprisingly a smoke-fest for your shoulders and arms. We walked to get our heart rates down back to COT.

The weather did not agree with us, but I hope everyone had a nice evening at The Barry (aka The Sweaty Barry). I’m really not sure how a person could not have a good time with Milwaukee’s Beast and PBR being served.

WARMUP: run to Church of God Worship Center, 5 SSH, 5 Seal jacks, 5 downdog merkins
THE THANG: pick up two 2lb weights, run to stairs at FM COG, calf raises on steps x10, SSH x10, seal jacks x10, run through upper lot of COG to Confederate St, turn right down Forrest St, turn right down Academy St, run up steps to 2nd floor of COG to perform SSH x10, seal jacks x10, derkins on picnic tables x10, run down steps, drop 2lb weights at corner of Academy & Withers, run up Withers towards the Print Shop to complete 5 pull-ups and 5 toes to bar, run out of Print Shop and cut through lot of Craft Axe, down Academy St to go pick up your 2lb weights at corner of Academy & Withers… RINSE AND REPEAT 2 more times

The While Zipper

WARMUP:
Mosey to Fort Mill Pharmacy parking lot, Moroccan nightclubs, low slow squats, and 9 burpees
Mosey around Clebourne to next parking lot and 5 diamond merkins in cadence
Mosey to next parking lot and 5 jump squats, mosey to corner of Spring and Elliot
THE THANG:
Zipper route. Every time you cross over Spring, you do burpees. Start with 8 and do one less each time you cross over down to 1 burpees at Summersby and Spring. Right side of the zipper is 15 jump squats, left side is 15 diamond merkins
