Four Corners & a Burpee!!

WARMUP: Abe Vigoda, Cherry Pickers, Flying Squirrels, Imperial Squat Walkers, The Drill Instructor,
THE THANG: Four Corners on the Football field, 50yd line and end zone, pick a card, do the Thang, run, nur, karaoke, side shuffle to each corner. The 400m run around the track was a crowd pleaser. One burpee in the middle of the field in between sets thanks to @Twister who was pumped up to an ‘80s rockin’ soundtrack of Boston, Christopher Cross’ Ride Like the Wind, The Cars, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen. Indian run back to COT.

“The Hip Thing” By Airborne

WARMUP: What Warmup?
THE THANG: Run… far….
Head from COT to Munn. South on Munn to Harris St. East on Harris St. to the Godfather of hills in The Fort. Depending on the distance desired, take Spratt or Massey to 160 and back to COT for a total of ~4 miles.
MARY: Not necessarily Mary but Airborne brought out a 5 minute Hip workout to help with strength, tone and maintain the swim bod for the summer. It was a burner!

WARMUP: The scheduled Q was DR. The Pax sprang into action.
THE THANG: The 4 pax took turns leading small sets around the front and side of the AO.
MARY: Broga “The Pigeon” made an appearance.

3 Men and an unknown weinke

WARMUP: SSH x 15, windmills x 10 and we’re off.
THE THANG: Peer led in a rotating fashion with short moseys in between. YHC began with 3 rounds of 6-count burpees, Big Boys, and Squats. 3rd round was cut short to pass Q to Bass. Round 1: Shoulder Taps, Peter Parker’s, Plank Jacks. Round 2: Plank Tucks (crowd favorite) overhead claps, MNC’s. Round 3: Dips, Derkins, Erkins and other stuff. Pass the Q to Foghat that included Mike Tyson’s, Bear Crawlls, Dips, and some stair work including bear crawls up the stairs. Try it, you’ll like it!
MARY: Gas Pumpers for Twister and more.

Head to the basketball court – partner up
Partner 1 toy soldiers down and back
Partner 2 does burpees – 100
Partner 1 bear crawl across the court & lunge walk back
Partner 2 does LBCs – 200

Mosey to COT for MARY
10 Birddog crunches each side)
10 Shoulder taps
10 Elbow to knee Bicycle
20 flutters

I swear I didn’t stack the deck

WARMUP: Mosey around the lot, some SSH, Windmill, Moroccan Nightclubs and Walkers of both the Imperial and Hillbilly variety… then a mosey to the lower lot by the Church of God to get to some smoother pavement

THE THANG:

Lots of mumble chatter throughout. Let me tell you that nothing makes you a card counter like knowing the K of Jack Webb, 3 Aces and a Joker are left in the dwindling deck! Got through almost the whole deck. Actually had A-Joker-A left at the end. Promise it wasn’t planned… I kind of wish it was

Old Kingsley Loops

THE THANG:
Suggestion was for Pax to run counterclockwise around old Kingsley business park loop, with the upgrade option of running an increased-paced segment around the pond within.

Sandlot and Heavy Things

WARMUP: None
THE THANG: 7 Workout Stations to include: Big Curls, Merkins, Triceps, Flutter Kicks c/Chest Press, Squats, Burpees, and kettlebells. After 10 reps at each station, campers had to carry heavy things to the end of the alley and back. Every 15 mins PAX played follow the leader around the track. Some campers wanted to carry heavy things as well. Tunes and Burpee Video provided by 2.0. No one was lost or hurt through out our journey.
