WARMUP: pre-run Ben Casey thru parking lot down to Patricia lane and back to launch + 20 SSH
THE THANG: Dave Gibson > Emory > Braden Pkwy > Afton Way with stops along Emory for houses with Christmas lights (total: 1 burpee, 6 Merkins, 8 squats ; distance 1 mi)

Afton Way loop (4 loops x 0.5mi/ea = 2mi)
4 x 3 = 12 squats at start
4 x 3 = 12 merkins at backside intersection with Lizzie

Back track 1 mi up Emory the way we came stopping for count of Christmas lights again.

Had a little time left when we got to Dave Gibson, so did another loop through business park (Ben Casey > Patricia lane) with another 5 merkins before heading back to COT

Transparent Thought Life

WARMUP: 50xSSHIC followed by a short mosey to our first pain station.

THE THANG:
At the end of the warm-up mosey we found ourselves at the entrance to the loop at the front of the school.
Played Catch Me If You Can with the finish line being opening to the road that leads to the back of the school
Partner#1 Bear Crawled while Partner#2 performed 5 burpees and then moseyed to catch Partner#1. Continue to flapjack until you reach the finish line.

Nex, moseyed to the back of the school to use the benches and stairs. Reverse 1/2 Jack Webb: Started with 10 step-ups each leg and then went into 40 squats. We stopped after completing the 5 & 20 mark.

Next, moseyed to the playground for a Mini No-Run Dora.
Partner#1 moved into a straight arm plank position with feet in a swing – performed one knee tuck followed by a Merkin – that equals 1 rep – Partners need to complete accumulative rep count of 100. While Partner #1 performs the exercise, Partner #2 completes 10 pullups, returns to Partner #1 and flapjack until accumulative rep count is complete.

Finally, moseyed to COT from some AB work.
30 sec. of scissor kicks right into 30 sec of LBCs

Straight Arm Plank Position – held for 2min.15sec. – removed hands and feet from base in a rotating fashion, 1 at a time for 15 sec. and then removed 2 posts for 15 sec a pop.

30 sec. of flutter kicks right into 30 sec of LBCs

Adding Gardenia

WARMUP:
Not typically done at this AO. Try to get here early enough to manage yourself.
THE THANG:
Run towards Gardenia every stop sign we did and additional merkin starting with 1. There are 10 stop signs.

7s on the hill – burpees and bomb jacks. We only got two rounds in. That hill is hard

Run back with merkins the same way. Total merkins 110.

THE THANG: Deck of Pain on the main stage. The suit is the workout the number on the card is the reps.

Spade: Squat – Ace: Wall Sit 60s
Diamonds: SSH – Ace: Line Jumps :left_right_arrow: then :arrow_up_down: 60s each.

Joker: Lap around the Christmas tree then 10 burpees

Next up Indian run around WEP
Finally end up at the top of the hill on the south end for some 7’s with squats up top and v-ups at the bottom. Slippery slopes with leaves when going up and down. One casualty… RIP <@UMVTXH0BX>

What it is to be a Good Man

WARMUP: In Cadence: Imperial Walkers, Cherry Pickers, Hillbilly Walkers & Windmills. Counted off.

THE THANG: Took off for a basic run and boot. 3.02 miles with stops along the way.
Pain Station stops included: merkins, squats, burpees, cocaine bear crawls, Carolina dry docks, jump squats, etc as we moseyed from COT to Dam Rd and back.

Many words were given and they all mattered and defined. From honest, accountable, virtuous, dependable etc all great words. There is no perfect definition but we should all be striving to make sure we are doing all we can to be a Good Man because the world badly needs Good Men. The words above that we do without thinking keep it up, those that we have to strive to do better at – keep working at it – the world needs GOOD MEN. You have 31 days to close 2025 and set the tone for 2026 – go be a Good Man!

Carrying a Balanced Load

WARMUP: Windmills x10, Cherry Pickers x10, Plank, Down Dog, HoneyMooner
THE THANG: Grab Rucks and 2 sandbags. Ruck behind school.
2 carry sand bags 50 yards and back (overhead carry, Farmers Carry, Shoulder carry and Farmers carry agin). Rest of Pax does exercises (Curls, Swings, Squat, Upright Row, Lunge).
10 Manmakers.
Ruck to COT and drop bags.
Ruck to Hill:
First 3 sets of Bear Crawl to next platform.
1. 5,10, 15 Squats
2. 5,10, 15 Merkins
3. 5,5,5 Manmakers
Next 2 sets of Bear Crawl with Ruck pull through:
1. 10,20, 30 LBC
2. 5,10,15 Lunges
Ruck around pick up loop, when get to small loop do partner Catch me if you can.
1 partner farmer carries both rucks second does 5 Burpees and runs to catch up then switch. Do this to COT
