Kingsley……because…..that’s what we do

WARMUP: Nope –
It’s a running/rucking/jogging AO
THE THANG: route called – leave the high school up the hill, north on Munn – left on Kingsley park drive to the crossing at 160 into the Kingsley development for 1 mile loops. Return the way PAX left the AO – Between 3-5 miles were had by all.

Hills

WARMUP: Mosey to police station parking lot for SSH, windmill, imperial walkers, hillbilly walkers, Merlin’s, cherry pickers. Mosey parking lot by dog shelter.
THE THANG: Start of with running back and forth in the parking lot doing butt kicks, high knees, and karaoke… for the workout we used the 4 corners of the parking lot – first lap was 7 merkins at each corner then squats at each corner then LBCs at each corner and finally flutters at each corner. We then ran over to the hill in the park and did varying modes of transportation up the hill – bear crawls 2, 50% run 2, 100% run 2. Mosey back to parking lot and do a few laps of Indian runs.

Remember 9/11

WARMUP:
THE THANG: partners up while partner 1 runs hill partner 2 does 9 burpees, 11 squat jacks, step ups until partner returns rinse and repeat for entire workout. Climbing stairs and being prepared for whatever comes our way is what we get to do and need to be prepared to do. Keep up the hard work.

THE THANG:
Mosey beside LPL pond for a Webb homage to <@U01FDRQSQG3> . Merkins Accumulator in cadence w 4 shoulder taps each side per Merkin:

Mosey to gravel lot.

Partner up, one PAX runs length, does 5 burpees, runs back, while other PAX does exercise with coupon (stone block):

1. Curls
2. Squat thrusts
3. Tricep curls
4. American Hammers

Switch each time so both partners do all exercises.

All PAX together:

Lunge Walk length of lot with coupon, stopping at each of 8 cones to do 3 diamond merkins on block.

Lunge Walk back length of lot with coupon, stopping at each of 8 cones to do 3 Scorpion Dry Docks, alternating legs at each cone.

Mosey back around the park, stopping for:
Flutters
LBCs
Peter Parkers
Parker Peters
Scorpion Dry Docks

Throw in a short sprint up hill between the red signs.

Little Dipper

WARMUP: Mosey to the backside of the Harris teeter. On the way – butt kicks, high knees, karaoke, and then completed SSH, cherry pickers, imperial walkers, hillbilly walkers, low slow squat, and moroccan nightclub. Mosey to fire station through the apartment complex.
THE THANG: Pendulum – we completed merkins at the fire station and LBCs at the other end of the pendulum (stop sign up the other side of the hill). We increased by 2 with merkins and by 4 with LBCs until we reached 10 merkins and 20 LBCs. Mosey back to the side wall of HT and completed wall sits while everyone bear crawls out to burpee and then bear crawl back. Burpees sprinkled throughout the moseys.

Pardon the Interruption

WARMUP: Some movements at the green at amphitheatre
THE THANG:
10 burpees, pax run in any direction for 10 secs and return home
10 burpees, repeat run in same direction for 15 secs, return home
10 burpees, run same direction for 20 secs, return home

Starting with youngest pax (Tarzan) each pax took the group to his end point where pax did various exercises

Stop 1 = legs + burpees
Stop 2 = chest+ burpees
Stop 3 = core + burpees
Stop 4 = ground movements+ burpees
Stop 5 = burpees

Return home

Disruption was the theme today where pax didn’t know where we were going , what exercises we were doing, what reps we were counting. There were odd numbers and interrupted sequences and patterns.

We’re human, we want patterns, we want control. Sometimes life just won’t cooperate with our desires or minds. Today was proe for those times.

Pendulum 8s

WARMUP: mosey through the stopping points
THE THANG: Starting at top of Dave Gibson hill on middle school side and running to 160 we did 8s with 7 burpees at the top, 1 navy seal burpee at the bottom, 7 burpees at the top at 160 and 1 navy seal burpee back at the bottom. We reduced distance up Dave Gibson each round and went down to 6-2-6-2 on burpee- navy seal burpee.

THE THANG:

Station 1: 100m-ish partner run – 100 monkey humpers, 200 Carolina dry docks, 300 American Hammers

Station 2: 10 Merkins, 15 air squats, 20 big boys, 10 burpees

Station 3: PAX stayed in wall squat, while we snaked down the line bear crawling out 10 yards and performed 5 wide arm merkins, then crab walked back. Then walking lunges out to 5 squats and walking lunges back.

We all eventually showed up

WARMUP: YHC arrived early to get the lay of the land. With construction on going at WEP, and unsure exactly where the DR site Q planted the flag, YHC wanted to make sure we got started smoothly.

YHC had the pleasure of meeting a few PAX for the first time, gave the disclaimer and started our warmup, with still a few more PAX coming in on 2 wheels!

We moseyed around the parking lot. Performed SSH, LSS, Imperial Walkers, Moroccan Night Clubs and Yoga for our warmup.

THE THANG:
Exercises at bottom of hill. Burpees at top of hill, increasing reps with each trip up the hill.
Exercises at bottom of hill were:
– 10 Bomb Jax
– 20 Diamond Merkins
– 30 Wide Arm Merkins
– 40 Squats
– 50 LBCs
– 40 Lunges
– 30 American Hammers
– 20 Merkins
– 10 CDDs

We made all the way through the list, to 9 burpees at top of hill, and then decided to go back up the list and decrease burpees at the top.

Minuteman was the King this morning, making it back to the round of Squats I believe?

MARY: Flutters IC, Hello Dolly IC. Black Gold and Spike were able to practice calling cadence with Box Cutters and Freddie Mercurys.
