Bubble of Hot Air

YHC was honored to Q at Minnow Pond and thankful to start the day with my brothers in F3. After reviewing previous backblasts, I noticed one from Spider-Man in 2023 which introduced a loop around town that I liked. I decided to modify it slightly and focus on ab work today

YHC had the privilege to spend 45 minutes getting better with 11 HIM at Slow Burn. Here’s what we did:

The average age today was 48 with Hash Brown being the youngest at 26 and Twister/Short Sale being the War Daddies at 60. Today was a great example of the gift we have in F3. Many men live an isolated life of loneliness lacking friends and connections. They have lost track of school or service buddies years ago and Covid decimated their work and convenience relationships. What they are left with is time and no one to spend it with. That’s why F3 matters. We have true friendships that add value to our lives. We have a brotherhood of men that are older, younger, richer, and poorer. They don’t always look like you, vote like you, attend your church, or pull for your favorite team. And you know what, we are all better because of it. That’s why we have to share what was first given to us. EH that guy down the street. I promise he will appreciate the request as soon as he realizes you have what he needs. Be that guy for the guy that needs what you have.

Tour de Bushwood

Short mosey run
Warmup: SSH (12xI/C); windmills; Imperial Walkers; Low Slow Sqts; big arm circles; peter parkers; parker petes; plank stretches
–mosey Run–

Thang 1: Fish Tracker: do transportation, then the exercise called.
Toy soldiers walk – called bobby hurley’s
Bear crawl – merkins
Lunge walk – squats
Crab walks-LBC
–mosey Run–

Thang 2: leg lift loop dora: Partner 1 runs loop, other does leg lifts (we held onto the fence) cumulative to a 100 leg lifts
Thang 3: pass the ammunition: found a concrete weight, all pax curb plank. Pass block down the line, at end all do 3 curb merkins, pass the block back, repeat a few times.

Thang 4: burpee relays: base line is the flags in front of the school.
Run to light pole 1, do 4 burpees, run back to start
Run to pole 2, do 4 burpees, run back to start
Run to pole 3, do 4 burpees, run back to start

Thang 5: wall work
Wall sit, pax individually ran out did 4 merkins, ran back
Muscle ups, 3x
Wall tar jais in cadence

Low stance, shuffle right, left, do exercise when called. We did monkey humpers, smurf jacks.

Bro Workout

WARMUP: SSH, CP, MNC, IW, HW
THE THANG:
Wall Sit – the whole group wall sits, while two pax did a burpee and 5 merkins

Mosied to the corner of the Lowes building for a partner workout. One side of the building (outdoor garden side) was merkins and the other side of the building (lumber side) was big boy sit-ups. The rep count increased by 5 for each lap and then decreased by 5 once 20 reps were achieved. 5-10-15-20-15-10-5
Pax mileage was between 2.75 and 3 miles.
