WARMUP: A little jogging with warm-up exercises thrown in.
THE THANG: Partner up. This was easy due there only being 4 of us. The original plan was for a 2min timer but during the first round, I realized I was failing too soon so I dropped it to 1min for each exercise. After you and your partner completed 1min of each exercise, you each completed a 50yd Partner Push. Then, move to the next set of exercises.
Round 1: Upright Rows (High Pulls) & Overhead Press
50yd Partner Push (each)
Round 2: Bicep Curls & Tricep Extensions (skull crushers)
50yd Partner Push (each)
Round 3: Bent Over Rows & Bench Press
50yd Partner Push (each)
Round 4: Squats & Dead Lifts
50yd Partner Push (each)

Grab your sand bag and meet at the main drop-off lane.
100yd sand bag toss followed by a 100yd overhead sand bag toss. You’re throwing the sand bag behind you to end up back where we started.
Run 50yds & NUR 50yds
Laying down, 10 Leg Raises while holding the sand bag overhead
10 Big Boy Sit Ups with the sand bag on your chest
Bear Crawl 25yds then Crawl Bear back.
10 Thrusters on my count
10 Flutters w/ Press I/C
60sec over-the-shoulder sandbag toss

That was it…super easy!

The shank at Bushwood

WARMUP: Mosey down to Forest Middle, SSH, Cherry Pickers, Windmill, Moroccan Night clubs, Merkins

THE THANG: 10 Merkins, 10 CDDs, 10 Plank jacks, run the hill, repeat 3x
10 Jump squats, 10 squats, 10 calf raises, run the hill, repeat 3x
15 BBS, 15 Flutters, 15 LBCs, run the hill, repeat 3x
MARY: PAX took turns calling Mary

Blimps at the GC

Short disclaimer then jog around back of center for warm-ups. Normal stuff: SSHs, imperial Walker’s, low slow squats, merkins, Peter Parkers, Parker Peter’s, and MNCs. Mosey to back hill for accumulating BLIMPS. 5 Burpees, 10 Lunges, 15 Imperial Walker’s, 20 Merkins, 25 Plank Jack’s, and 30 Squats. Start at bottom with 5 burpees, run to firestation for 10 donkey kicks, run back to start. 5 burpees, 10 lunges, run to station for 10 donkey kicks, run back to start. Repeat adding letter each round. Pollo had to duck out due to asthma flair up but it took us a while to find him. So good lesson to always pay attention to all PAX. After we got that squared away back to blimps. I think we figured out how to count the imperial Walker’s by the 5th round. Finished up back at fountain so we bear crawled one loop around it. Jog back toward cars stopping at other traffic circle. Partner up for 20 partner merkins with hand slap in-between then 20 partner big boys with hand slap at top. Jog back to cars for a few rounds of Mary, except somehow Autobobn thinks Merkins qualify as Mary. But all good, recover and COT. Lots of sickness going around and PAX coming back from being out. So prayers for health right now. Thx for the opportunity 1/2 shell!

Reservation for Two Please

WARMUP: SSH, IWs, Hillbillies, karaoke, toy soldier, butt kicks, high knees, nur
THE THANG: We ran 3 ish miles down to Harris St Park, thru downtown FM and back. We stopped a lot several churches and paid homage at the Print Shop as well. Stretching, core, burpees, Merkins and squats were the spice throughout, ensuring we stayed warm on a morning that measured 20 degrees at launch.

Repeat till Failure

WARMUP: Started with a 5 minute mosey around campus and then circled up: CherryPickersx5inCadence, WindMillsx5inCadence, SSHx15inCadence, HighKneesx20OYO, SSHx10inCadence, ButtKickersx20OYO, SSHx5inCadence, Burpeesx3inOYO

THE THANG:
Thang #1- Paula Abdul Parking Space Routine near the football field, move 2 lines forward – perform 2 merkins, then move1 line back – perform1 merkin, MOT = Bear Crawl to move forward & Crawl Bear to move back. All PAX start together on one end of the parking lot, called it quits after the 1st PAX traveled the entire lot. HarryCarry was King!!!

Thang #2 – Light Poles on the road at the back of the school: Mosey to every other light pole and perform 5 Diamond Merkins, 10 Merkins, 15 Wide Arm Merkins. Instructed the PAX to go to failure with each set of Merkins if they could not complete the rep count. By the end everyone had failed, a lot. Suplex was King of this round!

Thang #3 – We moseyed back to the basketball court area to complete a simple DORA – running portion was between the basketball goals, exercises: 100 SSH, 100 MCs, 100 PJs. Hominy and I crushed this round!

WARMUP: IW and HW with the Rucks on while we waited for Decible to park
THE THANG: head quickly to heart attack hill to do it twice.

Six Booters and four Ruckers converged on Ball Room this morning for a music-themed workout. Conditions were cold and wet (33 and foggy). Here’s what we did.
