This morning 11 studs went back to school with Billy Madison. Here’s what we did:

Some guys got to the Diamond Merkins. Most guys hit two miles. All guys got smoked.

Murph Madness Recovery

WARMUP: The usual suspects: Cherry Pickers, IW, some other stuff

THE THANG: Slowsey to the basketball courts: merkins on one end, mosey to the opposite island and back. Rinse. Repeat.

Slowsey down to the concession stand. SSH, BBSU.

Slowsey around the track twice and back across the bridge.

Randomized 11s (LBC at hilltop, SSH at bottom)

Slowsey to school front via basketball courts.

Slowsey to COT for pain randomizer.

MARY: Who? Core principle says “men only.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Remember, you are not alone. Your brothers in the gloom are just a slack message, text, or phone call away.

Start with 5 of first exercise, run down to Dogtopia and back, Then do 5 of first, run, 10 of second, run, etc

10 – Lunges (2x)
15 – Mtn Climbers
20 – Squats
25 – Flutters

Part II: (We should have spent more time here. Was only last 15 min)
Cubbie Cornhole
Count by 1s and 2s and split
Two play Cornhole, normal scoring
– 1 pt – bag on the board – other team does 10x Big Boy situps
– 3 pts – bog in the hole – other team does 10x CDDs
– Winners – 10x Burpees
– Losers – 10x Kraken burpees

While others are playing, I would should put the following exercises while we watched:

– Calf Raises

Team Cubbie/38/Soup/Half Shell was victorious.

What do all these numbers mean?!?

WARMUP: SSH, slooooow windmills, produce pickers, imp walkers, hillbilly walkers, mountain climbers – generally a bakers dozen of each

We also ran around lowes for some dips
THE THANG: AMRAP: one minute of work with 30 secs of recovery of the following: shoulder taps, big bois, squats, hand release merkins, American hammers, monkey humpers – record your count with chalk

Added 10 secs to each exercise for third round with goal of pushing to beat your highest count from the previous 2 rounds

Carry the Load

BUY-IN: KB handoff…stand back to back and kept handing off the heaviest KB of the partners—45’s—by rotating side to side.

THE THANG: Farmers carry to The Print Shop’s new pull up bars. One stop on the way. One stop on the way back. Exercises consisted of lawnmower pulls, bent rows, shoulder presses, swings and pull ups.

THE THANG: Just under 2 miles of trail rucking behind Earth Fare, GHMS, back through the woods, and to COT.

Smiles and Miles

WARMUP: Intro and disclaimer. Began rucking down towards the round about. stopped to do some curls, Squats and overhead press. all OYO.
THE THANG: Kept rucking to the far end of the Sunbelt parking lot. stopped to do some SSH, merkins, stretching, up and down dog. Rucks on and hiked it over behind Starbucks. Held AL Gore for a message about allowing ourselves to let others serve us. I talked about how grateful my family is from the outpouring of love we have received from so many people after my M’s surgery. Do not be affraid to allow others to serve you, you do not have to do the hard stuff alone. Rucked around to the back of the pond area and stopped behind the ale house. More curls, Squats and overhead press but in cadence. Rucked back to COT.
MARY: Got in a little Ab work before 6am.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Murph, print shop workout, and blood drive
COT: Prayers for Duckb6 weeks no nicotine, prayers for Cornerstone from his uncle passing and praise for my wife’s recovery.
