The Thangs: Set cones up at 10 yards apart for 100 yards. We did 1 merkin and 10 burpees at the 10 yard line and sprinted to the 100 yard line. Worked our way to 10 merkins and 1 burpees 1st and Ten Did Elevens with burpees and merkins with sprints. Finished that and did 4 corners with 7 burpees, 14 squats, 21 flutters and 28 big boys. Repeated 2.5 times.

Leadership message;

The topic was parenting…Couple key points:

Lead by example, do you have your kids do as you do or do as you say? Or are there two sets of rules?

Hold to a set of family values, is there a clear set of values and principles? Maybe even put them on the wall somewhere

Allow space for failure, don’t be hasty to judge, criticize and even being sarcastic can stifle a culture where your kids are comfortable failing in the home- much like the gloom for us, we can feel confident to try things and sometimes fail.

Be a father first friend second, society tells us to let your kids do whatever they want in the name of personal preferences, we aren’t here to placate every desire of our children, we need to be fathers!

and remember this life is nothing but dust in the wind! What will your legacy be? Do your kids know God? Better yet do they know Christ?

Looongest shuttle run ever

THE THANG: ran suicides across the ENTIRE parking lot, over 1 mile

Ran over to cindies and lined up in a straight line where we did 25 reps of a particular exercise then ran across to halfway point of parking lot and back. We got through 9 or 10 sets

WARMUP: Side straddle hops in cadence to 20, Imperial Walker in cadence to 20, Abe Vigota (slow old man windmill in cadence to 20.
THE THANG: On the X :

Each line 12,3,6,9 o’clock gets 5 hand release merkins at the end of each rotation you go all the way around on hands to next quadrant line once you are there get on your feet and jog in place until all PAX done
