Never skip leg day

WARMUP: 0.8 miles lap around LPL building
THE THANG:
At the amphitheater, elevens using the concrete steps: 1 step up each leg, 10 calf raises; 2 SU, 9 CR… progressive to 10 SU, 1 CR.

Ruck to the building behind Epic, up the stairs, one lunge on each light on the second floor, all the way down to stairs in front of hotel, went down the stairs on the back, up the stairs again, lunges on each lights on second floor, down the stairs in front of corkscrew bar, rinse and repeat up the stairs but switch to back lunges this time, down the stairs at the end, turn around and complete back lunges on each light on second floor. Down the stairs again.
Loop around packs tacos and back to the amphitheater.

Rucks off, elevens again:
1x 4 count pickle pointers, 10 squats; 2×4 count PP, 9 squats… progressive to 10 PP, 1 squat… those 4 count PP added up quickly

It was a full leg workout with plenty of complaining

Nine men (including one FNG – welcome SIB) started their day with the hard thing at the Kitchen Sink. We had a quick disclaimer then jumped right in – no warm-up. Here’s what we did.

Music and Merkins

45 minutes of music.

A “base” exercise with another exercise when a key word or phrase is said.

1. Running up the hill mountain climbers until you hear the word running. Then you’d run up a hill.
2. Voodoo Child- calf raises until “mountain then 3 jump squats.
3. That Energy- BBS until “that energy “ then 8 flutter kicks
4. Eye of the Tiger- Squat Punch until “Tiger” then run a lap
5. Why do we fall- Burpees the entire song
6. Kingdom- Hammers until “Kingdom” 10 toe touches
7. Phenomenal- 1st verse plank then HR Merkins on None. 2nd verse wall sit then squats 3rd verse Superman/banana.
8. Like a prayer- squats until prayer.. then 5 knee-tar-jas
9. Diamond Eyes- shoulder taps them 25 LBCS on “boom”
10. Danger Zone- run until “danger zone” then 3 burpees
11. Everyday I’m hustling- lunge walk until hustlin then do high knees
12. Thinking about me- Imperal walkers until Thinking then Catalina wine mixers.

Ended right at 6:00

It was fast but fun.

Over the hill and through the woods

WARMUP: Side straddle hop, cherry pickers, windmills.
THE THANG: Ruck to pain station 1, (20) Ruck Curls, Ruck up halfway to the big hill, (20) Ruck Curl and Upright Rows, Ruck Up the Big Hill, add Calf raises to the list, ruck through the woods out to the church, 20 squats and finish.
MARY: LBCs, more LBCs, flutters, dollys, mercury’s, and more.

The Greyhounds could not be slowed with extra reps

23 at <#C02PN3FTFJP> this morning. The plan, 1/2 mile loops with 4 pain stations.

Pain Station 1 – 5 burpee bomb jacks, each lap first 15 pax added 2 reps (leaders did 15 reps on their final lap)

Pain Station 2 – 5 plank jacks on elbows and 5 Freddies (2 sets)

Pain Station 3 – Parking lot merkins, +1 merkin at each parking slot line, bear crawl to next line( 15 total)

Pant Station 4 – Squats and lunges (10 reps each)

Back to station 1

Total mileage was around 3.5.
