NMM:
There’s a lot of turmoil going on in the world. Americans (in general) have largely been spared inconveniences since WWII (maybe gas shortages in the 1970s?). In many cities, we’re being asked or required to wear masks to quell the rampant spread of COVID-19. For almost all of us, this is an inconvenience. But luckily it is only an inconvenience.
Today’s workout was certainly not convenient, with the exception of the location for some PAX. We recognize how simple workouts in the humidity makes us better. YHC is officially exhorting us to be leaders and do the inconvenient things like wearing a mask for our community’s health.
Side note:
As an FM local, I remember when Baxter was a cow pasture. Traffic is worse in town, but so much about Fort Mill is better because of the folks who moved here. I appreciate what y’all bring to our town. It is great to post with PAX from all over who are working to make themselves and our shared community better. T-Claps to y’all.
What I learned:
At The Bubble, 10 PAX doubled down posting twice today. YHC tried to keep the warm-up close for those PAX arriving late. My advice to future Qs is: DO NOT plank up in the parking lot until 6:20 or so. Unless you want to raise your heart rate from fear rather than mountain climbers as a vehicle whips into the parking lot you’re lying down in…. My mistake. Won’t happen again.

NMM:
Been thinking about what followers learn when they see a leader fail and how that leader responds to failure. Does that response show a follower more about a leader’s abilities and dedication than success?
COT
8 pax came out for my first Q at block party and 2 Ruckers.
Started out with a lap around WEP, followed by COP. COP included Moroccan night clubs, squats, mountain climbers, cherry pickers, etc.
The Thang
YHC came with index cards, each with an exercise with a number in a different language.
Pax guessed the language, number and exercise, and we completed the guess.
We then completed the correct exercise, if guessed incorrectly.
For each incorrect answer pax had 5 burpees, and for good measure, we ran the hill after each turn.
Thanks Bobber for the opportunity. Great AO that I will definitely be back to.
14 HIMs showed up for what was promising to be a great morning. Prior to this morning HIC had not posted in 3 weeks. While not fartsacking, I certainly was not pushing myself. Being know for not wanting to do much cadence there was a plan hatched the night before that was sure to be easy to lead yet keep everyone on their toes and with any hope, a bit sore the next day.
After a good bit of razzing from the group about an FNG on Q (Yeah I get it, it’s been a while) we start off.
Warmup: Mosey around the lot. SSH (x20) MNC (x20) Tappy Tap (20x)
Grab your bells
Slight move of location for The Main Event. Keeping with the theme of I don’t want to count we’ll use a run timer for the remainder of the morning. One person runs out to the gate and back, the rest of us do exercises for that time.
Goblet Squats
Curls
Lunges
Scull Crusher
Calf Raises
Overhead Press
Romanian Deadlift
Chest Press
Big Boy Sit-ups.
BREAK: Move to the wall. Peoples chair. Everyone does 5 burpees down the line.
Second verse same as the first:
Goblet Squats
Curls
Lunges
Scull Crusher
Calf Raises
Overhead Press
Romanian Deadlift
Chest Press
Big Boy Sit-ups.
Back to the wall: Bear crawls to the end.
5 min of Mary.
Announcements:
Convergence at WEP on 7-11
My thanks to 3D for the call out and opportunity to Q. It was much needed to get out of my covid funk. It takes a village, and I’m thankful for all of you.
9 men showed up this wet morning at the Ranch. Bobber had trouble finding the designated parking lot so he left his car in the middle of the drop off lane. Uhaul was complaining about the darkness and wet surface, but stayed around for the fun. After the disclaimer, we moseyed around the parking lot to the front of the school.
COP
SSH x 20
Imperial Walker x 20
Windmill x 20
Plank (6′, Honeymooner, Downward Dog)
Arm Circles (Forwards, Backwards)
Next, we moseyed to the school entrance for 11s between the curbs. We started with one dip, bear crawled to the other side, ten Carolina dry docks, crab walked back to the other side, and increase the count by one to two dips…continued this exercise until the six was finished.
Once done, we jogged to the front of the Middle School for some leg work.
1st round: 10 leg lunges, 15 jump squats, 20 monkey humpers, 25 calf raises
Ran a lap around the car loop
2nd round: same as first, but added 10 to reps
Ran a lap around the car loop
3rd round: same as second, added 30 Dirty Myrtles
Next, we moseyed to the back of the school for some Ab work.
20 LBCs
20 American Hammers
15 Leg Lifts
Superman
With a few minutes left, we were able to squeeze in 50 yards of burpees broad jumps.
Great job everyone. Thanks for the opportunity!
Ten pax came out to Block Party, officially at WEP again, on a muggy warm morning.

Thang final: Big Balls
Play AC/DC’s “Big Balls”. Pax do a monkey humper at each utterance of balls in the song and offend the entire community at the same time.
Song is about 2:30.
Fini
Prayers for Asphalt and Cash, may God guide their doctors and bring a swift recovery.
Beast on Q for a Q re-debut after some considerable time in the fart sack. The Q’tine and U-Haul’s leadership has compelled me to get up and back in the gloom over the past few weeks. It’s great to be in the gloom with the Pax encouraging one another.
COP
We did a few warm-up laps while the stragglers rolled in.
After COP the Pax went out a little warm-up lap to point out the stations that were set up around the church parking lot. Set-up 2 exercises per Station. Pax in pairs – it’s a CDC thing, each Pax on one exercise at a time, then switch and R&R. (P = Pax, SC = single count, IC = in cadence)
Pax got through 4 stations and then we had a little time for station 5, and tabled station 6 for another day.
Due to popular demand, we closed out the remaining 8 Body Builders before moving into some last-minute Marry and COT.
Prayers/Praises: Prayer for Pax’s (3D I think) daughter AP test, and one other request.
Closing thoughts – as the Gloom re-opens, pick up the phone and call your fellow Pax and check in on them and ask them to come out and join you in the gloom.
Well it was bound to happen and eventually it did, The Hive crossed over the last day of the week not yet occupied by The Hive… Spitz led the first half and Tesh closed strong on an absolutely beautiful day in The Fort. We are blessed to be in this great town and I am blessed to have the brothers of F3 here in Fort Mill coming out and supporting this AO. We will soon be back to the new form of normal and I will definitely be ready to stop using Worship Planner…
