THE THANG: mosey behind Lowes for 15 Irkins, Dips & Derkins. Rinse & Repeat, Mosey to Portico for Captain Thor (4 Am. Hammers for each Weezy). Head to the wall for some wall sits & Burpees. Then to the patch of grass for Jack Webb and finish with Mak Tar N’Djiayes for my man Barry M. Head to COT.

THE THANG: on the corner of downtown, instructions were given for the .5 mile loop.
– merkins with a shoulder tap at the top (15) in corner one where we were at
– At the 4 corners bottom of the hill we did CDD (20)
– Ran up the hill at 75% sprint and flutters in the “smooth” parking lot at the top (25 double count)
– Ran to print shop for 5 pull ups
– Ran back to start…6 loops minimum was the goal.

A beautiful morning for a run …

THE THANG: it was a perfect morning for a run, YHC did 5, Vuvu did 8-10. I gave a route and then did not follow it. Instead, down Munn (great warm up mile), left on Harris, flat, down, UP, left on Ardrey, nearing WEP I saw the boss and his merry band warming up, my pace increased … in the opposite direction, back on 160 (sidewalk nearly complete), N on 21 to the back entrance to Kingsley, around the long way, almost home and I was summoned by the fast guys rounding up. Reversed for a minute, and return

Big 5-0

Move everyone and everything to back corner of panera lot. Warm-up was run one lap slick, ruck one lap, ruck one lap with sandbags. Then 5 rounds of 10 merkins w/ruck, 10 overhead presses, and 10 swings. Ruck a lap with sandbag, ruck a lap, then run a lap slick. Next we partnered up and did some heavy movements. Then I guess we did the stupid shit according to Sofrito. But it was some team based moving of sandbags used at a couple ruck events. It was definitely new to some guys but based on the complaints it was fun. I probably missed a few guys in the tags but i sincerely appreciate everyone who came out to wish me a happy birthday today. Im truly blessed to be apart of this group.

BOP Kitchen Sink Style

Brought a BOP to the Kitchen Sink.

WARMUP: Not enough time for a standard warmup. Warmup was reviewing the list of exercises on the BOP as there were some combo exercises , PAX performed 2-3 reps to ensure they understood and to practice good form. The latter probably faded towards the end of our time together.

THE THANG:
Normal BOP format – Transport route with a mode of transportation ( most of the time this is simply running, not at the Kitchen Sink ), complete the listed exercise, and then repeat until finished or time is called. No one finished so maybe some adjustments can be made if brought out again in the future.

Transport Area was approx. 15 yards long in the upper parking lot.
Mode of Transportation: Overhead Backward Toss, walk to your SB and perform 1 ManMaker, toss it again, 2 Man Makers, repeat until the end of the 15 yard area ( avg. 4 tosses in this direction ). To come back PAX were asked to alternate Rotational Side Tosses, walk to your bag and perform 1 ManMaker, alternate sides and toss again, 2 ManMakers, repeat until you reach the finish line ( avg. 3 tosses in this direction ).

THE THANG:

– Warmup run to GHES parking lot at the top of Dave Gibson. Round of Mary as we wait for the 6
– Run to access road at the back of the school for a “light pole” workout

– Round 1: 5 burpees at the first pole. Run to the next pole and complete 15 squats. Run back to first pole.
– Round 2: 5 burpees at the first pole. Run to the next pole and complete 5 merkins. Run to next pole and complete 15 squats. Run back to first pole.
– Round 3: 5 burpees at the first pole. Run to the next pole and complete 5 merkins. Run to the 3rd pole and complete 5 merkins. Run to the 4th pole and complete 15 squats. Run back to first pole.
– Rounds continued until we ran out of time. Added an additional pole each round. 1st pole was always burpees and the last squats, with merkins at all the middle poles.

MARY: 2 minutes to run out the clock.
