11 men attended the weighted stroll this morning. We made our way around town finding a hill at the bottom of Harris. Backwards walk up the hill, trek around WEP and one last look at the downtown XMAS lights

Rucking for Balance

Paused for the possibility of any late arrivals. Then set off to check on some friends.
Rucked towards FMHS and saw a glimpse of the boys at the <#C055Y70G5QE> ! All the reps were done. Had <@U5CF2DMKK> do a drive by on his way to Q his portion of the 30/30! 2.87 miles of smiles and soul searching.

Struggles of the dancing idiot

WARMUP: the central question was posed- if we are excited and enthusiastic about trying to make a vision come into reality. (to better serve a group that we identify with and hope to serve), how do we manage our enthusiasm and have realistic expectations for those involved.
THE THANG:
Along with several references to Q-source, the main ideas that emerged included: making sure to filter out unnecessary aspects of the vision(s) (to better concentrate, and focus energies on what is most important), to regularly and deliberately engage in reflective practices (to better learn from mistakes, and help chart future courses),
And above all, have faith that progress will happen in God‘s time, and not necessarily our own.

needed recovery

Landed in Charlotte night before around 10pm – super exhausted from Miami work trip but can’t pass up opportunity to lead the PAX!

We stayed on kingsley campus, winding through the sidewalks and parking lots to get 3ish miles. Every 5 minutes we would stop and do about 10 merkins and 10 low slow squats both with the rucks on.

THE THANG: Rucks On and we were off trying to warm up on a chilly morning! Headed towards the Coach’s Box and made a stop at the HWY 21 junction.
Performed Curls, Tricep Curls, Calf Raises!
About face and headed back towards COT! We spotted some ruckers in the wild :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: and called them out. We performed another set of reps as we waited for their arrival. We rucked two by two back towards Hwy 160. As the Q called for another set of reps! They split and went on their way. Back to COT with 3.1 miles
