THE THANG:
Ran to Fort Mill Golf Club which has apparently moved to Augusta National status because we were turned away by the guy pulling the carts out. So a quick audible turned us around and headed back to the top of the steep hill on Withers St.

Here we would still play golf on something not nearly as nice as the course we planned to play. Nasty courses are commonly referred to as Goat Tracks.

9 Holes of Golf:
– Top of the hill is the tee box (perform 2 squats for the first hole, 4 for the second, etc.)
– Circular grass island in front of Fort Mill Baptist Church is the green (1 burpee for the first hole, 2 for the second, etc.)
– Run back and forth between the two points to complete 9 holes.

Most people got through the 7th hold before we needed to call it to mosey back.

Short mosey run
Warmup: SSH (12xI/C); windmills; Imperial Walkers; Low Slow Sqts; big arm circles; peter parkers; parker petes; plank stretches
–mosey Run to awesome parking lot across from First Baptist Ft Mill– Thang 1: Burpee relays, Start at baseline.
Run to cone 1, do 5 burpees, run back to start
Run to cone 2, do 5 burpees, run back to start
Run to cone 3, do 5 burpees, run back to start
–mosey Run to Ft Mill Church of God–
Thang 2: leg lift loop dora: Partner 1 runs loop, other does leg lifts (we held onto the fence) cumulative to a 125 leg lifts
–mosey run back to nice parking lot
Thang 3: Mtn climber relays: Start at baseline.
Run to cone 1, do 15 mtn climbers, run back to start
Run to cone 2, do 15 mtn climbers, run back to start
Run to cone 3, do 15 mtn climbers, run back to start
–mosey run to the Print Shop—
Thang 4: Pull up dora (there was a lot of pax)
Partner 1 does pullups while partner 2 runs to front of Print Shop and back
Continue to 75 cumulative…later reduced to 50

Sweepin’ like it’s 1776

Hot Humid July in SC pre-run with Grout and Re-tread.

WARMUP: run to parking lot where old tega cay coffee used to be and do 17 in cadence American Hammers then run to lowest point on Dave Gibson and do 7 in cadence merkins then run to flag pole at the school and do 6 in cadence low slow squat

THE THANG:
1776 sweet the Leg style
Perform:
17 American Hammers
7 Merkins
6 Squats

At flag pole and at tega cay coffee parking lot. Every time you pass the low point of dave Gibson do 3 burpees.

Get as many rounds as possible

THE THANG:
Mosey over to the playground for Pyramid of Pain. First round reps of 2-10-10-10, followed by 4-20-20-20, then 6-30-30-30 and back down. Exercises were Pull-ups, LBCs, Merkins & Squats.

Moseyed over to the back entrance and did 6 burpees and 13 dips.

Moseyed to front of Elementary School and did 4-corners around the Loop. At each turn of the Loop, do the following:
– CDDs
– Calf Raises
– Big Boys
– Over Head Claps
First loop 10 reps, then 20 reps, then 30 reps.

MARY: Flutters, box cutters and reverse box cutters, American hammers.

Moderate sandbag workout

WARMUP: moroccan night clubs, windmills, hill billi walkers, low slow squats, lap around the parking lot alternating toy soldiers and high knees
THE THANG: find a partner and grab a sandbag, toss the bag to the curb alternating with your partner, back to start, repeat bag tossing to the curb and back, take a lap with the bag on shoulders, pass bag to partner and take another lap.
Rinse and repeat 4 times, last bag tossing we switched to lateral toss.
MARY: broga and stretching, LBC’s for the last 2 minutes.

The Tour de Fort Mill: Where Burpees Meet Churches and Açaí Dreams

I rolled up this morning and was surprised to see so many pax already there with five minutes to spare. Hopped out of the vehicle to find we had an FNG in attendance. At 6:30am, I gave the disclaimer and we started the workout:

Warm-up:
– 10 Chain breakers
– 10 Italian night clubs
– 5 Side Straddle Hops

The Thang:
1. Run to Harris Street Park
– 5 Kraken Burpees

2. Run to Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene
– Halfway plank for the six
– 5 Kraken Burpees
– 10 Imperial Walker Squats

3. Run to the old Springs building across from The Print Shop
– Stop for the six at the Valero
– 5 Kraken Burpees
– 10 Imperial Walker Squats
– 15 WW2 Sit-ups (Omaha this round to 15 Seal team sit-ups)

4. Run to the Fort Mill Church of God
– 5 Kraken Burpees
– 10 Imperial Walker Squats
– 15 WW2 Sit-ups
– 10 Mike Tysons

5. First Baptist Church Fort Mill back parking lot
– 5 Kraken Burpees
– 10 Imperial Walker Squats
– 15 WW2 Sit-ups

6. Run to Unity Presbyterian Church side parking lot

7. Run to Maui Açai Food Truck
– Wait for the six, then 15 monkey humpers in cadence

8. Run to the bottom of Massey St
– Nured up the hill to the entrance to the parking lot

Once at the entrance, we lunge-walked across the parking lot, headed for the transmission line, but I called an audible due to the time and we ran to COT.

Overall, we achieved 3 miles.
